Is this a good fit for us if our PDP isn’t awful, it’s just a bit meh?

Oh yeah, 100%. In fact, that’s the sweet spot.

Punch Ups almost always get the best results when you’re really happy with the product, but the PDP feels like it’s not really doing it justice.

That’s where we get to really make a difference in 24 hours.

What do you actually change on the PDP?

We don’t just tweak lines. We spend a whole day, head-down on completely reworking your page, top to bottom.

Usually, that means:

clearer hero messaging and “why you should buy” framing
stronger message hierarchy (what matters first / second / third, all based on customer research)
more specific proof + social proof
sharper objection-handling (AKA overcoming the reasons people don’t buy cleverly)
adding new sections where needed

And we’ll recreate your page in Figma and write all your new copy where it should live (with annotated explanations why) so it’s ready to hand over to your designer and developer.

How much involvement do you need from our team?

Not much at all.

Of course, we’ll ask for as much info as you can give us on who it’s for, customer research, objections, long-term vision, etc… but we built this service to be really low touch for you.

So even if you’ve only got a rough idea of “that page isn’t good enough” then we can take it from there.

Do you need access to Shopify / Klaviyo / our site?

Nope, not at all. We recreate your page in Figma and go from there.

However, if you can share analytics or heatmaps, that’s always a huge bonus.

Is the final PDP ready for design and dev?

Yes, 100%.

We’re not designers at all, but we know how to wireframe and mockup your new site in Figma. That way, you can pass it over to your team to polish, tweak and get it live.

Will this work for any product and category?

Pretty much, yeah. As long as your product is already somewhat validated (AKA, people buy it, review it, like it, you’ve got a bit of traction), then the PDP works for you.

However, if you’re pre-launch or early on with no customer reviews or real product market fit yet, a Sprint is often a better fit because we’ll need to do deeper discovery and messaging work first.

What if we don’t love the new direction?

That’s a good question. That’s why the kick-off call is all about alignment: what you want the page to do, what “on-brand” means for you, and what you don’t want (too salesy, too quirky, too premium, etc.).

Then, on the second day, we’ll do a live run through of your new page. We’ll do live edits on the call and tweaks after, if needed.

And while it’s never happened before, if you really don’t love the new direction, we’ll book you into the next available slot and do it again, pro bono.

Can you guarantee results?

We can’t promise a specific uplift, because there’s way too many variables (traffic quality, offer, pricing, creative, site speed, etc.).

What we can promise is that we’ll give you sharper positioning, clearer decision journeys, stronger objection handling, a clearer, more ownable brand voice and copy written to convert more customers.

And because of that, every client we’ve worked with has seen a meaningful uplift after working with us. But, as with anything, we can’t guarantee results. (Wouldn’t it be nice if we could, though?)

What happens after the one-day Punch Up?

Most of the time, post-Punch Up looks like this:

You ship it with your team (usually running A/B tests to make sure it works better)
We’re around during design/dev for any questions, etc…
If you need more copy (or more PDPs), we’ll start working on a small sprint (1-week).

Can you do multiple PDPs?

Yep. If you’ve got a handful that need love (or a collection/category page + PDP combo), that’s usually a 1-week Sprint.

Punch Up is for a single “hero PDP”.

Can we pay by card? Or split the invoices?

Yes, 100%. We know that cashflow is a tricksy beast.

So we accept corporate cards (including Amex), and if you need to split billing out over up to 4 months, it’s no biggy. (No fees or anything like that. Just let us know and we’ll divvy it up.)
