Ecomm & FMCG copywriting services
Copywriting services for ecommerce
& FMCG challenger brands
We help ecommerce and FMCG brands write clearer, more convincing copy across PDPs, landing pages, email flows and retail decks. Sometimes that starts with messaging and strategy, sometimes we just get our head down and write. Either way, we’ll help you do words gooder.
How we’ve helped
brands do their words
gooder
You won’t catch us promising to triple your conversion rate or 10x your bottom line. But when a brand gets clear on what makes them different and rolls it out across their site, emails and launch comms… good things tend to happen. Here are a few results clients have shared after using our copywriting services.
Client revenue increase after a 4-week messaging, voice and copy sprint.
Number of clients we’ve helped since 2012 with copy, messaging & brand voice.
Revenue increase (£5.6M to £25.2M) in the year after a messaging & copy overhaul.
DTC client saw a 378% year-on-year bump after a 4-week copy & messaging sprint.

Not sure which
copywriting service is
right for you? Let’s chat.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a perfect brief or a full picture of what you need. If you’ve got a solid product and the brand’s growing, we’re pretty good at spotting the things that are already working and where we can help.
This call is just a chance to say hey, get a feel for each other, and hear what you’re working on next.
If it sounds like we can help, we’ll suggest the simplest way forward. (And if not, we can introduce you to people we know who can help.)

How we work
(and why it works)
We’re big believers in the idea that good copy isn’t a magic trick. It’s about being clear about what you sell, why it matters, and what someone needs to see to feel good about buying. That’s why we lean on customer research, real-world data, and a bit of consumer psychology so we’re not guessing and you’re not left hoping the words work.
Start with clarity
Before we write anything, we make sure we’re super clear on who it’s for, what they’re buying, and what needs to happen next. Then we deep dive into customer language, objections, reviews, competitor context… so the copy’s built on the sort that works, not just “that sounds nice”.
One message, everywhere
We land the one big idea your brand wants to be known for, then build the voice + messaging pillars around it (grounded in customer research, objections and behaviour). That way every touchpoint sounds like you — consistent, confident, and easy to recognise.
Work in context
Good copy isn’t written in Google Docs. Whenever possible, we work directly in Figma, Klaviyo or your deck templates. Because copy isn’t just words, it’s order, hierarchy, spacing. Working in context means fewer handoffs, faster sign-off and less design/dev headache.
Handover + rollout
There’s no “here’s a doc, peace out” here. We hand over with clear notes, everything labelled and cross-referenced, and we stay contactable throughout (so your designer/developer can hit us up with any tweaks for spacing, for last-minute ideas).

Two brothers helping brands do words gooder
We help ecommerce and FMCG challenger brands get clearer on what makes them different then roll it out across PDPs, email, landing pages and decks in one consistent voice.
If you’re stuck between big agency proposals and finding a new freelancer for every brief, DWG is the best of both: agency-level work, with direct access to two senior writers who run the work properly.
But we know that choosing an external partner isn’t just about skills or track record or who they’ve worked with before. It’s also are they easy to work with? Are they egomaniacs? Do they say “synergies”?
So we can categorically say this: we have never, ever said synergies.

FAQs
What kind of copywriting do you actually do?
Basically anything your customer might read before, during, or after buying.
Our copywriting services cover everything including website pages, PDPs, email flows + campaigns, landing pages, ads, packaging copy, retail decks, pitch decks, paid social scripts… and the occasional “please can you make this sound like a real human wrote it?” rewrite.
If it touches the customer journey, it’s probably in our wheelhouse. And if it isn’t, we’ll tell you straight up.
Do you do SEO copywriting services too?
Not in the “here’s 40 keywords, now cram them in” sense, no.
But we do write with SEO in mind. We’ll make sure pages are structured properly, headings make sense, and the words people actually search for show up naturally where they belong.
If you’ve already got an SEO strategy (or an SEO person), even better, we’ll work alongside it so you get the rankings and the “this is the brand for me” vibe.
Do you need a full rebrand to work with you?
Nope.
Most brands we work with aren’t “starting again”. They’ve just outgrown their old messaging and their copy needs to catch up with how good the product actually is.
Sometimes that’s a proper messaging refresh. Sometimes it’s fixing one hero PDP. Sometimes it’s just getting your emails sounding like you, not like the default Klaviyo template voice.
How do you figure out what to say without living in our business?
We do a proper deep dive first.
Reviews, support tickets, competitor positioning, your best-performing emails + pages, founder story, objections, product truth, data, margins, the whole shebang.
Then we turn it into messaging you can actually use… not a 47-slide deck everyone says is “interesting” and never opens again.
Can you work with our designer and developer?
Yep!
Copy doesn’t live in a vacuum. Layout, hierarchy, imagery and UX all change how your words land. So wherever possible, we’ll write in-context in Figma, Klaviyo, your CMS, your deck templates… whatever you’re using.
And we’re happy to jump on a handover call, QA the build, and tweak things so it ships properly.
What do we get at the end? Like, what are the deliverables?
Depends on what we’re doing together but you’ll always get something you can actually ship.
PDP Punch Up: a finished PDP rewrite (usually in Figma) your team can implement fast.
Sprint: clearer messaging + voice direction, plus upgraded copy across the pages/channels we agree upfront.
Fractional: ongoing delivery, ongoing improvements, and two senior copywriters who stay close to the brand and keep things moving month after month.
How much do your copywriting services cost?
We keep pricing simple and you can see our prices above. But before we agree anything, we'll jump on a call to work out what copywriting services you need.
The call is where we work out whether it’s a one-day Punch Up, a short sprint, or ongoing support.
After that, we’ll send a clear plan with timeline + costs. No proposal theatre. No “we’ll circle back with options”. Just costs so you can work out if it works for your budget.
Will we still sound like us, or will you make us sound like “copywriter-y” brands?
You’ll still sound like you. Just clearer, sharper, and more consistent.
Our whole thing is pulling out what’s already working for your brand, then making it feel cohesive across every touchpoint.
If you’re playful, we keep it playful. If you’re premium, we keep it premium. If you’re direct and no-nonsense, we won’t suddenly start writing like a wellness candle company.
