WEBSITE & BRAND COPYWRITING
Getting copy for your brand has never been easier. Getting the right copy is still a wee bit trickier. So, whether you’re working on a new website, a rebrand or just making your landing pages work that bit harder, you’ll get two senior copywriters sweating, obsessing (and sometimes bickering) over every word.
We’ve written for Fortune 100 companies with 10-page briefs, scrappy little startups where they had a few notes and a big idea, and, just once, we even wrote from the perspective of a cat. What we mean by that is: just bring us whatever you’ve got. We love crazy ideas or digging around a half-formed brief or even tidying up an AI draft that’s kinda OK but not quite right.

strategy & thinking first. Then writing.
Maybe it’s because we’re both renovating and doing up our houses right now, but writing copy is a lot like decorating. The painting and putting your stuff back is the easy bit. And nowadays, that bit of copywriting is the easy bit. Hell, AI will give you 10,000 words before the kettle’s even had a chance to boil.
But what makes the finish look good is all the stuff that nobody sees. For us, that’s spending hours up to our neck in your customer reviews. It’s even more hours spent working an angle, binning it, then trying three more. Or it’s rewriting a headline 106 times before it’s bang-on. (True story, that one.) Basically, it’s the time that goes into making sure the copy is bang on and ticks all the boxes. Not just “sounds about right”.
And while we’d love to tell you that process is where the magic happens. Really, it’s just experience plus a borderline-unreasonable amount of research plus really bloody high standards for our own work (plus, the Lord of the Rings soundtrack when we really need to lock in and knuckle down) that are the secrets to our success.
Ways to work with us
These are the ways that most brands choose to work with us, but we’re pretty flexible. If you’ve got a project that doesn’t fit in one of these boxes, hit us up and we’ll make it work.

one-day copy & messaging intensive
So many brands have asked us “can we just borrow your brains for the day?” that we finally turned into something we offer. Because, we get it, sometimes you just want somebody to come in and take one headache off your plate or to fix that bit of messaging that has bothered you for yonks already. So this is our way of making sure you can book us out for the day and give us the stickiest, trickiest and horriblest word-related problems you’ve got and let us get our heads down on them.
Previous one-day sessions include: helping a therapy brand figure out their entire positioning, helping a Dragons’ Den alumnus skincare brand nail down their brand messaging and PDP copy and helping an alcohol brand transition into lifestyle messaging.
£1,500 per session. Credit card payments available.
TWO-WEEK WEBSITE copywriting SPRINT
We’ve written more websites than we’ve had hot dinners. (Okay, not quite. But one year we wrote over 400 pages of website copy, so it was true for that year.) And one of the big things we’ve learned is that the things that really slow down the process aren’t really about the writing at all. They’re almost always either a) getting aligned on messaging early on or b) delivering the copy as a Google Doc and the client thinking “what the hell is that? How can I judge copy in a Google Doc?” (They’re right. You can’t.)
So we’ve taken care of both. Firstly, we always work with you to lock the big-picture stuff early on and then we deliver everything as dev-ready wireframes in Figma that your designers and developers can run with.
£5,500 fixed fee. Instalment plans & credit card payments available.
Four-week voice & website sprint
If you’re going through a rebrand (or you’ve just had that aha! moment where everything about your brand clicks into place), it often makes sense to get everything sorted in one go. Figure out your new voice and messaging, get all of the website copy updated and then document it all (and train AI) so your team can keep using it as you grow.
This is our way of making that happen. Over four weeks, we’ll dig into your brand, your customers and your competitors, work with you to figure out exactly how you should sound, then write your new website with that voice, tone and messaging. Once your new site and voice have your 100% happy sign-off, we’ll document it and train AI to write in your voice. (And not some karaoke version of your voice.)
£10.5K fixed fee. Instalment plans and credit card payments available.“Working with Jack and Joe has been an absolute game-changer for us. sales are way up and they really helped us nail who we are as a brand, how we should sound (and gave us a brand voice & messaging playbook that our whole team have used to make everything we do on-brand. The whole thing was hugely transformational for us as a brand.”

Two brains for the price of one
Look, we’re brothers, so we’ve been arguing with each other for a lot longer than we’ve been writing copy. And while it made for tense games of Scrabble and FIFA as kids, it’s actually quite a useful skill as adults.
Nothing you see from us is a first draft. Or a second. Or a third. One of us writes the first draft, the other pulls it apart. Then it gets rewritten. Then it goes to Vic (our Head of Studio and chief referee) for a fresh, objective eye before it gets rewritten again. So by the time it lands for you to review, it’s already survived review by three people who don’t believe in “that’ll do”.
For you, that means fewer rounds of amends than you’d get with a freelancer but without the agency price tag. And because there are two of us, a sick day or holiday never turns into a missed deadline.
(Oh, and we’ve been told the vibes in the project Slack channel are “immaculate” too. Probably the abundance of Lord of the Rings gifs.)
